Southern Stars Section & Art ‘n Motion recently hosted a Cars & Coffee in Saint Augustine, Florida.
MBCA Southern Stars Section toured Art ‘n Motion on July 10, and it was a huge hit among our members! Art ‘n Motion (https://www.artnmotioncars.com) is located among Northeast Florida automotive history, on the north end of the nation's oldest city of Saint Augustine, Florida.
The site is the former home of the Yarborough Cadillac dealership, razed before the new building was constructed. Scott Lagasse Racing (NASCAR driver, https://www.TeamSLR.com) also works out of the building. The shop restores and maintains performance stock car racing vehicles, including the Trans Am Road Race Series TA2 specialty class cars. Several Florida-produced Mosler sports cars and race cars have been displayed in the showroom. Currently, there are currently two Mosler MT900 GT3 race cars on site, among many other legendary race cars.
Did you know that Mercedes-Benz shot a portion of their new 2019 G-Wagon commercial at Art 'n Motion in Saint Augustine? Nearly two dozen guests joined us to tour the showroom where we saw many collectible and historic vehicles throughout the two-story building!
Art ‘n Motion VP Justin Felker also manages the Ponte Vedre Auto Show held in our region. This years show is November 14 (https://PVautoshow.com). After a couple of hours admiring the showroom cars, learning local racing history and hearing stories of unique cars, we headed over to The Reef, 4100 Coastal Highway, St. Augustine for their 11am à la carte brunch and enjoyed a variety of delicious food and beverages while enjoying conversation of passionate automotive enthusiasts!
