We have planned a beautiful outing on Saturday July 17 to Hidden Hangar Vineyard Winery in Dennison Texas. Rosi and I have driven and visited the venue and it is awesome. We will meet at the Coffee Lodge Parking Lot in Van Alstyne at 10:00 am (take Hwy 75 North, Exit 51, Van Alstyne Parkway, the Coffee Lodge is at the Northeast corner of 75 and Van Alstyne Parkway).
From there we will drive clean country roads for 37 scenic miles to the winery. The Hidden Hangar Winery (HHW) is located at 273 Middle Rd, Dennison, Texas 75021.
The drive has a $10 per car registration fee and the activities are pay as you go. We will take a tour of the winery and have lunch (approx. $15.00 / person). Wine Tasting is available and starts at $8.00 / person for 3 tastings.
We will have a putting green tournament on 6 holes, the teams will be one woman and one man. Winners will be awarded wine bottles from the winery.
Coming home is much shorter by using Hwy 75 South. Please mark your calendars and hope to see you for a very, very nice outing.
The weather should not be a factor unless you compete in putting green tournament, as the rest of the event is air conditioned.
